Charcoal

Dicarbone is a Portuguese company with 3 generations of experience in the trade of charcoal and wood derivatives.

As a distribution channel and link between producer and end consumer, over the years we have worked to market environmentally sustainable and economically viable products for our customers. We do not market fossil products (mineral coal). Our charcoal is obtained from burning wood. Our focus is to market products from invasive species or forest clearing.

Our target customer is the reseller, the Horeca channel (Restaurant, Barbecue, Hotel, Agro stores, among others) and the domestic consumer.

We are located in the Lisbon district and are able to supply the entire national and international market, through our own distribution or via transport.

Difference between charcoal and mineral coal

Not all charcoal is the same. There is mineral coal that is extracted from ore (we do not sell it), and it is not used for grilling food. It is used, for example, in the production of electricity, in industry, among others, and is considered a fossil fuel.

Charcoal is obtained by burning wood. It is the charcoal used to grill food and is not harmful to health.
